Due to some problems in the construction and installation, the fire door cannot play its due role in the event of a fire, and may lead to accidents, which require attention and correction.
1. The opening direction of the door is wrong. The fire door must be opened in the evacuation direction, otherwise the crowd will squeeze the door leaf in a panic, and the door will not be able to open. It is worth mentioning that the door of the evacuation stairs leading to the roof must be opened towards the roof so that people can transfer to the roof for rescue.
2. Unauthorized modification of the finished fire door during installation. Taking the wooden fire door as an example, there are the following modifications. Just like the processing of ordinary wooden doors, the original finished fire doors are sawed and planed at will. After the hardware parts are sawed and chiselled, the fireproof paint is not applied again, which greatly weakens the fireproof ability.
3. Enlarge or shrink the door, paste ordinary wood on the side of the door leaf, or cut the door leaf narrow and short.
4. One-sided pursuit of decorative effect, the door frame is cancelled and only the door cover made of ordinary wood is installed, the original side stile of the door leaf is replaced with other wood, and a large-scale decorative surface layer is applied to destroy the fireproof coating.
5. For the sake of beauty, replace the original special hardware and glass with ordinary ones.
